Basic GPG Requirements

1. One must be a South African national.
2. One must have a certificate from Grade 12 to show as proof of completion.
3. One should have an email they’ll use to apply online as well as have a password that isn’t easily access.
4. One must not have any criminal record.
5. One must have a certified true copy of their South African ID.
6. One must have a certified copy of their matric results.
7. One must show a true copy of their qualifications.
How To Register for GPG
Before one decides to apply through the GPG website, you must register before you can proceed;
1. Visit the GPG Professional Jobe Center’s website via=>https://professionaljobcentre.gpg.gov.za/
2. Go to the top right hand corner of the website and click on ‘Account’
3. A drop down comes and you choose ‘Register’ since it’s your first time.
4. Fill in your email and password.
5. Now, enter your cell phone number.
6. Confirm your password.
7. Insert your details which is the South African ID number or passport number.
8. Please choose a security question. This is very vital because you’ll need it in case you forget your login details.
9. Proof read our information again.
10. Save and continue.
How To Apply For A GPG Job
To get access to the job portal and be able to apply on GPG, you need to first log in and this is how it’s done;
1.Log on to the GPG website through =>https://professionaljobcentre.gpg.gov.za/Login/Login.aspx
2. Enter your South African ID/passport and passport.
3. Click on log in.
4. The list of jobs are going to show for you to choose which one you qualify for.
5. Click on the ‘Apply’ to fill the form with your information.
6. Click ‘submit’ after everything
7. The system will then send you an SMS with a reference number showing you’re all set.
