What Are The Types of SASSA Grants?

SASSA Grants: SASSA Foster Child Grant
Another type of grant is the SASSA Foster Child grant which is also a monthly payment given to the people of South Africa who are Foster parents to children and also who are incapable of taking care of the children due to financial constraints. SASSA Grants: SASSA Social Relief of Distress Fund(SRD)
The third grant on the list is the SASSA Social Relief of Distress Fund(SRD) which also popularly known as R 350 grant. This type of grant is given to South Africans, residents or refugees who were affected greatly by the COVID-19 directly or indirectly. The grant is given to relief beneficiaries of their financial burden. The amount given to beneficiaries is R 350 monthly.

SASSA Grants: SASSA Old Age Grant
The SASSA Old Age Grant or Old Pensions Grant is the fourth on the list. This grant is paid monthly to South Africans who are old and are 65 years and above who are still alive and can’t support themselves financially. SASSA Grants: SASSA War Veterans Grant
SASSA Ware Veterans Grant is the fourth on the list making it one of the grants given to South African who played a vital role for the country at the Second World War and Korea War and are unable to cater for themselves financially. The final grant on the SASSA Grants list is the Care Dependency Grant which is payed to parents, foster parents and caregivers for a child or children under the age 18 and also have mental and physical disability therefore needs full time care.
